
Kohima, September 28 (MExN): Don Bosco Tech, AIDA Centre held the Graduation Day for the 26th batch today for Skill Training for Unemployed Youth.
Father Innocent, Principal, Don Bosco College Kohima graced the occasion as special guest. In his speech, he exhorted the graduating trainees to build their own dreams and have big dreams and think differently from others, Coordinator, Don Bosco Tech AIDA Centre, Regina Pamma Karai informed in a press release.
Br Sunny Joseph Executive director of AIDA appreciated the parents for sending their children for the skill training. He asked the candidates to “stay connected with your mentors to ensure success as professionals. Fr Joseph Boenzi SDB from the United States also addressed the gathering and reminded them that they are privileged to have got employable skills and employment in a short time.
Meanwhile, Don Bosco AIDA is negotiating with Tata Strive for collaboration in knowledge sharing, up skilling of training faculty and certification. As part of the already existing collaboration Taj has selected 18 candidates to work with them, the release also informed.
The 75 days training began on 16 July with 67 trainees ended the training on September 26. All the trainees have received placement offer. Don Bosco Tech AIDA centre will start batch 27 from October 8.
