The 29th Chakhesang- Sümi Brotherhood Meet will take place on November 26 at Pfutsero under Phek District.
G Kaito Aye, Minister for PWD (R&B) and Kuzholüzo (Azo) Nienu, MLA & Leader of NPF Legislature Party will speak on behalf of Sümi legislators and Chakhesang legislators respectively.
Kashito Yepthomi, Advisor, Sümi Kükami Hoho and Z. Lohe, former speaker Nagaland Legislative Assembly will also exhort the gathering.
Short speeches will be delivered by Presidents of Sümi Officers’ Union Nagaland and Chakhesang Gazetted Officers’ Association.
The meet will also witness exchange of souvenir between Chakhesang Public Organization & Sümi Hoho, Chakhesang legislators & Sümi legislators, Chakhesang Gazetted Officers’ Association & Sümi Officers’ Union Nagaland, Phek District GBs Association & Sümi Kükami Hoho, Chakhesang Mothers’ Association & Sümi Totimi Hoho, Chakhesang Youth Front & Sümi Youth Organization, Chakhesang Students’ Union & All Sümi Students’ Union and Western Chakhesang Hoho & Western Sümi Hoho.
Opening remarks will be given by Theja Therieh, convenor, Chakhesang-Sümi Brotherhood Meet Committee while welcome address will be delivered by Vezühü Keyho, President, Chakhesang Public Organization.
Greetings will be shared by Dr Vihuto Asümi, President, Sümi Hoho. The meet will also be marked by folk tune, adoption of resolution, brotherhood feast etc.
