In the ongoing 29th Loyem Memorial Trophy at Parade Ground, on November 12, Freezing FC and Axios FC both registered wins in their respective matches.
Relisangba (8) scored in the 11th minute for Freezing FC against Mülan FC going into the half time at 1-0. The score was extended after the break with Ayen Chang (7) scored the second goal in the 43rd minute. Match officials were, referee T Shelim, 1st assistant L Chaba, 2nd assistant P Chelio and 4th official M Jongshi.
In the second match Axios overcame an early scare after Rili& Heli FC took the lead through the boots of Koruto Pochury (3) in the 2nd minute, ending the match 3-1 in favor of Axios FC. After conceding the goal, Alen (20) scored a 45-yard free kick in the 19th minute to level the score 1-1. There was a chance of comeback for the R&H FC when they were awarded a penalty but captain Salu kicked it wide to miss.
Shortly after that, another penalty was awarded but this time it was in favor of Axios FC who took up the opportunity and was converted by Samuel (9) in the 48th minute. Adding to the damage, a third goal was scored by Osa Khangen (8) in the 60th minute just before the final whistle.
Match officials were, referee N Chuba, 1st assistant M Nungsang, 2nd assistant M Aollen and 4th official S Yentin.
