Kiphire | April 27
As part of the 29th National Road Safety Week organised by the DEF Kiphire, an essay and drawing competition was conducted on April 27 which saw the participation of more than 60 students.
Encouraging the students, K. Ramnikhant, IAS, ADC Kiphire expressed hope that the competition will give new insight of creativity which can be replicated across the state country and the world. “As we grow older, we are bound with certain rules which are monotonous and kill creativity but as a student you have all the potential,” the ADC said while encouraging the students to “explore the best talents they have.” He also encouraged them to cultivate positive attitude in life as life is not only about winning but take part in life to become winner.
Imnalensa, IPS, SP Kiphire while welcoming the students asked to take the learning forward in life and not for school or anyone. He also encouraged the students to take active part in any given opportunity as the future belongs to those who are willing to venture out and believe in one self.
The SP also said that there will be winner and loser in any platform but even if you win or lose this is not an end and ask the participants to move forward if one has to become a successful person.
Koza SDPO who chaired the programme gave the guidelines of the competition and informed the result will be declared on May 2.
