DIMAPUR, JULY 16 (MExN): The Aries Music & Sports Foundation invites shooters to the 2nd Aries Rifle & Pistol Shooting Championship to be held from 19th to 21st July 2011 at the Aries Air Rifle & Air Pistol Shooting range at NST Colony, Dimapur. Interested shooters are requested to submit the shooter ID form duly signed by Monday, the 18th July 2011. This was informed in a press note issued by Merang Jamir, Aries Music & Sports Foundation, Dimapur.
Shooters, both men & women who has achieved 75% and above during the Coaching Camps held at Mokokchung, Dimapur and Kohima will get unlimited shots for sighting target and 40 shots for record target for a time period of 75 minutes, and shooters who has achieved below 75% will get unlimited shots for sighting target and 20 shots for record target for 40 minutes. Any other shooters or the members of the academy can participate in any one of the categories after declaring his/her last championships’ record. The Championship would be conducted as per the National Rifle Association Of India (NRAI) and the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) match rules. Shooters achieving the minimum qualifying score (MQS) of the Aries Rifle & Pistol Shooting Academy (ARAPSA) will be selected to participate at the 1st North East Air Rifle & Air Pistol Shooting Championship to be held at Imphal.
The 9th Summer-Jam 2011 of the Aries Music & Sports Foundation will also be launched on the 18th July 2011 at 4.00 pm. at the Aries db Hall, NST Colony, Dimapur. All the musicians of the 9th Summer-Jam 2011, are requested to come and join the launching programme of the Music Video Album.
