Bikers gearing up for the 2nd Horsepower Challenge at Local ground Kohima.
Kohima | July 12 : Nagaland Adventure Club is all set to flag off the 2nd Horse Power Challenge from 14-16 July at Local Ground Kohima. Adding more spices for the event, Ten Sports Entertainment channel will give three days full visual coverage, where two national bike champions from Delhi and Bhopal are also reportedly in the list of the participants.
Speaking to its event media partner “The Morung Express”, Paul Rutsa, said the event is organized to promote motor sports and tourism, adding that this year there are huge response from different states. Rutsa disclosed 15 bikes and 6 cars from Shillong have confirmed their participation, 5 cars and 9 bikes from Guwahati, 1 each from Delhi and Bhopal and 7 bikes and 10 cars from Nagaland and still some competitors are expected to reach.
The Co-Sponsors, Government of Nagaland are covering up the cash prizes amounting to Rs. 2.4 Lakhs including the prize money for photography competition. Commissioner Secretary, Tourism, Himato Zhimomi IAS will do the flag off at the inaugural function on 14th July at 9.00 am. While on 13 July, Administrative checks and collections of documents, collection of materials and documents, scrutiny of cars and bikes will take place starting from 8.00 Am.
