DIMAPUR, JUNE 1 (MExN): The 2nd Inter District Shooting Championship 2023 in Rifle/Pistol /Shotgun (NR) events will be held at Aries Sports Complex Shooting Range, Bamunphukuri-I, Dimapur from June 21 to 24. The championship is organized and conducted by the Nagaland Rifle Association (NRA). Shooters, who have not received or applied for their Shooter ID number, must immediately visit NRAI website www.thenrai.org to check status or apply for their Shooter ID number, informed a press release from the NRA. The entries with normal fee will be accepted till 6:00 pm on June 15. Late entries with triple entry fee will be accepted till 6:00 pm on June 17. Events will be held for 10m Air Rifle, 10m Air Pistol, 25m Pistol, 25m Rapid Fire Pistol, 5.50m .22 Peep Sight Rifle, 50m .22 Open Sight Rifle, and Shotgun.
The press release stated that the organizing committee reserves the right to amend the rules at any time at its sole discretion for events/circumstances beyond its control. “Any decision made by the organizing committee in any such matter will be final. All participants are expected to abide by the rules and regulations for the competitions. Discipline on and off the field is very essential. Shooting practices in hotels are strictly prohibited,” it further informed.
