The Chakhesang Wrestling Association (CWA) today organized a felicitation programme for medal winners from Chakhesang community in the wrestling discipline at the 2nd North East Olympic Games 2022.
Wrestlers from Chakhesang community who won medal includes; Ngonuyi Yhobu (Gold), Kusayi Tsutso (Bronze) and Venu Ringa (Bronze). They were felicitated at a function held at Dr. Talimeren Hall, Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) office in Kohima.
The Association also felicitated another participant Nedulhu Vasa.
Kuhupoyo Puro, advisor CWA and Phek District Sports Association (PDSA) president Nezosa Tetseo spoke at the programme
CWA president Vekhozo congratulated the medalists for bringing laurels to the state and the community.
The programme was chaired by CWA Press Secretary Kukhoto Venyo.
