2nd Peren District Table Tennis open championship

 

Dimapur, September 25 (MExN): The 2nd Peren District Table Tennis open championship, organized by Peren District Table Tennis Association, was held from September 22 to 24, 2011 at Town Council Hall, Peren Town. A press note issued by Kehung Hegui, President, Peren District Table Tennis Association stated that Imtui Mpom, Member Advisory Board, Jalukie Town Council graced the opening function as the chief guest. Namnabi Hegui, Director FITA, graced the closing ceremony as the guest of honour.  The note also mentioned that the result of the tournament is as follows: Men’s singles winner- Dr.Phenriwangbou Newmai, runner’s up-Rampauyi Ndan, Men’s Veteran winner-     Er.Namheu Khate, Runner’s up-  Pauning Elunglung, Men’s Double winner- Dr.Phenriwangbou Newmai and Lungpinglak Domtta, Runner’s up- Samlamyising and Iralu Peilia.
