DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 10 (MExN): The 2nd Phase of Measles Catch up Campaign for Kohima district commenced today, the 10th October, 2011. The first day of the campaign covered 106 schools under Kohima Urban. This was informed in a press note issued by Dr. L. Ralte, CMO, Kohima. The School campaign will continue till 14th October and the fixed day sessions will begin from the 17th till the 30th of October 2011. The campaign aims to cover 100% of all children aged 9 months till under 10 years irrespective of previous vaccination. The Chief Medical Officer, Kohima District, therefore, urged the Parents, Community leaders, Church Leaders, Women Representatives, etc. to fully mobilize the community to avail the measles vaccine at the nearest Measles Booth.
