2nd Silver Cup T20 Cricket Tourney from April 4

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 23 (MExN): The 2nd Silver Cup T20 Cricket Tournament organised by the Youth Department of Nepali Baptist Church, Kohima will be held from April 4, 2011 at the Kohima local ground.  A press note from the secretary of the organizing committee stated the tournament is “open for all interested Cricket teams and clubs from any part of the State and beyond” and touted to be “one of the highest prize money Cricket tournament held in Kohima”. The champions will receive cash award of Rs. 45,000 while the runners-up will pocket Rs. 20,000 with trophies and certificates. Individual prizes will be given away to the “Player of the Tournament, Best Bowler, Best Batsman, Best Wicket Keeper and Man of Series.” Man of Match award will also be given in every match, the note stated.  “Interested teams from any district can collect the entry forms from the following shops: Kohima – Sports World, Opp. Bank of Baroda and Café Inn, High School junction; Dimapur: Universal Sports, Nyamo Lotha Road.
