The 2nd edition of T10 Cricket Tournament under the aegis of Kohima Hornbills with G.Sports Kohima as co-sponsor, commenced here today at Ruzhukhrie Government Higher Secondary school ground.
The first match was played between Kohima Ravens and WELLP.
Kohima Ravens won the match by nine wickets.
In second match, Youngster CC defeated Legends CC by 49 runs.
In third match, Jaggernauts defeated St. Joseph (Autonomous) College by 103 runs.
The fourth match was played between Kohima Hornbills and Lio CC and Kohima Hornbills emerged as the winner after defeating the later by 97 Runs.
11 teams registered for the tournament, which is scheduled to continue till April 23.
The champion will carry a cash prize of Rs 30,000 while runner-up will receive Rs 15,000.
There will be individual prizes for player of the tournament, best batsman, best bowler and best keeper.
