3 students from SJC successfully completes Jan Shiksha Sansthan tailoring course 

DIMAPUR, APRIL 26 (MExN): Three students from St John’s College, Dimapur received the Jan Shiksha Sansthan tailoring course certificate. The students to successfully complete the training course are Liki Yeptho, Tughukali Awomi and Likusa Zhimo. 

Informing this, a press release received from St John’s College stated that during the 2022 summer break, the Women Cell of St. John College, Dimapur had encouraged students to take up a self-employed tailoring course for interested female students. The course was conducted by Jan Shiksha Sansthan (JSS) in Dimapur and aimed to empower female students with essential life skills.

Throughout the course, students were taught the art of tailoring and gained valuable skills in this particular field. The training program was designed to provide participants with practical experience and knowledge to create their own business in the future, making them self-sufficient. 

The college meanwhile expressed hoped that the skills learned in this course will serve as a valuable asset for the students' future endeavors, helping them secure a better future for themselves. It also asserted that this initiative is a testament to the college's commitment to empowering women and enabling them to achieve their full potential.
