Meluri, April 21 (MExN): The 33rd Pochury Commemoration Day was celebrated at Meluri village council hall on April 21. A DIPR report stated that Advisor, New & Renewable Energy and Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority, Z Nyusietho Nyuthe graced the programme as the guest of honour.
Giving a clarion call for peace and unity among Pochury people, the special guest emphasized on human resource development for the advancement of the community. He also assured that he shall sponsor ten meritorious students who are vying for various competitive exams.
Phokhungri Area Women Welfare Society Meluri Town presented a folk tune. Earlier, Chonpa Jurry, President, Pochury Hoho delivered the welcome note. All VCCs, VDB Secretaries and frontal organisations of Pochury attended the programme. Lazithu, Vice President Pochury Hoho chaired the programme.
