Winners of the 35th ZASA Sports Meet which concluded on January 16.
ZUNHEBOTO, JANUARY 16 (MExN): The 35th Zunheboto Area Sports Association (ZASA) meet that began at Zunheboto District Sports Council Complex Ground on January 9 culminated on January 16 with Khehoshe Yepthomi, President, NDPP Zunheboto Region as the guest of honour.
Vito Zhimomi scored the winning goal for Lizu Old Sports Association and the team emerged as the 35th ZASA winner making this the second consecutive win while Natha New Sports Association bagged the 1st runner-up spot.
Vinoka K Rotokha was awarded for being the highest scorer having bagged 10 goals this season. Yezami Sports Association meanwhile beats Kawoto Sports Association in the volleyball final.
Earlier Kivikhu Achumi, retired Director, Department of Agriculture inaugurated the 35th ZASA as the chief guest.
Khehoshe Yepthomi while addressing the gathering asserted that he was very happy to see the people of Zunheboto grow adding that he was always proud to introduce himself as a citizen of Zunheboto everywhere he goes.
