The second day of the 36th Phek District Sports Association (PDSA) Meet on March 24 in Thenyizu village saw Chozuba Area Sports Association (CASA) emerging as a top contender with a tally of 8 gold medals, 2 silver and 4 bronze. 
In terms of overall medals, however, Chokri Area Games & Sports Association (CAGSA) was leading with 22 medals – 6 gold, 10 silver and 6 bronze.
In high jump, CAGSA’s Eto Kezo of won gold while his teammate Rüvezo Rose of CAGSA bagged silver medal. The bronze was shared by Luzio Venuh of Phek Area Sports Association (PASA) and Küzhonu Vadeo of Centre Chakhesang Sports Association (CCSA).
In triple jump played on Wednesday, Kukhalhu Nienu of CCSA won gold while Nuvezo Sakhamo of CCSA and Poshezo Chizo of PASA bagged silver and bronze medal respectively.
In men’s long jump, Acuzo Tetseo of CAGSA bagged gold while CCSA’s Kropa Ruho got silver and CASA’s Velhüto Ringa won bronze.
In women’s long Jump, Kuzhopolu Medeo representing CAGSA won gold while Choyivelu Nienu of PASA got silver and bronze medal went to CAGSA’s Muletalu Tetseo.
Meanwhile, the first semi-final match for men’s basketball will be played between CAGSA and Khezha-Kuzha Tephe Sports Association (KKTSA) on March 25 while the second semi-final match will be played between PASA and Secheku Area Sports Association (SASA).
In women’s basketball, PASA will face SASA in the first semi-final match while CAGSA will clash with CCSA.
In men’s volleyball, CASA defeated SASA; CAGSA outplayed TASA, Phek (PASA) down CCSA and Secheku ASA beat KKSA.
In next round of matches, CASA defeated MRSA; CAGSA defeated Secheku ASA; Sekruzu ASA defeated PASA; TASA beat KKTSA; and CASA defeated CCSA.
In Women’s volleyball, Sekruzu ASA) team defeated Secheku ASA; TASA defeated CCSA, CASA defeated KKTSA, CAGSA outplayed PASA and CASA defeated Secheku ASA.
