37-Tyui AC candidates condemn

Dimapur, February 10 (MExN): The residence of the personal assistant (PA) of Y Patton, the incumbent Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister and BJP’s candidate from 37-Tyui AC under Wokha district, was allegedly razed by unknown miscreants. 

Condemning the event, Senchumo Nsn Lotha, JDU candidate from 37-Tyui AC said that incidents of such nature creates a disturbing atmosphere in the smooth conduct of free and fair elections. “I hereby condemn such acts of vandalism and call upon all sensible people to join with me in condemning such acts so as to create peaceful atmosphere in the Chukitong range,” Lotha stated in a press note. 

RJD candidate for 37-Tyui AC, Y Kikon also condemned the incident and urged the law enforcement agency to immediately take action and book the criminal, culprits under the appropriate sections of the law in force.  Kikon further condemned the alleged “criminal threatening and manhandling” of the GB of Nungying village and “snatching away personal property” of one Loreni Kikon on February 3.
