39 new COVID cases, 2 more deaths in Nagaland 

Dimapur, September 11 (MExN): The state Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) reported 39 new COVID-19 cases and two more deaths in Nagaland on Saturday.

As many as 44 people were discharged from hospitals post-recovery in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries in the state to 28,388. The COVID-19 death toll also rose to 622 with one death each reported from Kohima and Dimapur on Saturday. Besides this, 14 other deaths were classified as ‘Non COVID deaths (with COVID positivity)’ in the IDSP daily bulletin.

Out of the new cases, Dimapur reported the highest number of cases with 30, Kohima (3), Phek (3), Mokokchung (2), and Wokha (1).
As on September 11, the cumulative tally of infections in the state stood at 30,594 out of which 639 were active cases. Among the active cases, 492 are asymptomatic, 92 are mild symptomatic, 13 are moderate on oxygen, 21 are severe on oxygen, 12 are in ICU without ventilators and 9 are on ventilators, the IDSP informed.
