Kohima, April 29 (MExN): The 39th parting social of Baptist College, Kohima was held under the theme ‘Archiving Ourselves Here’ on April 28.
The speaker Dr Kewepfuzu Lohe, Vice-Principal, Sechü Campus, apprised the students on three areas – Clarity, Specialisation and Visualisation. To achieve one’s goal, Dr Lohe emphasised that one must have clarity of concentration, an inquisitive mind, and hard work. For employability in this competitive world, one need to consider one’s interest and be specialised in the area one’s interested in. Moreover, he emphasised on visualising oneself positively, for success and contentment at any point in life.
The programme started with an invocation prayer by Shokhumla, Prayer Secretary, Baptist College Fellowship. Pfütsükote Ketsu Koza, President, Student Council, gave the welcome address.
Speech on behalf of juniors and outgoing students were delivered by Syntia Chemtok, and Mr. E. Hanlom Mokho, respectively. Apang Albert N. Konyak, General Secretary, Student Council proposed the vote of thanks. Tamreimung Chüsi, Chaplain, Baptist College said the benediction.
Leykhringthu and Chumbeno L. Tsopoe were the comperes. The programme witnessed special presentations and entertainment session.
