Kohima, May 12 (MExN): Nagaland, along with other North East states and Assam will get 3G roaming services from Vodafone India. Pushpinder Singh Gujral, Business Head- Assam & North East, Vodafone India said that the customers of Vodafone Assam & North East can now avail faster speeds and data browsing experience. “We are confident that this move will facilitate in quicker adoption, better usage and a high speed internet experience on the go,” he added.
The services are available with immediate effect. This announcement comes post the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal ruling last week that 3G intra-circle roaming services will be available once again in the circles.
In addition to offering customers (both pre and post paid) 3G roaming facilities, Vodafone Assam & North East is also offering multiple packages to suit customer requirements. The packages include daily, weekly, monthly and unlimited plans for pre-paid customers and low/medium/high usage plans for post paid customers.
Vodafone India has been engaging with customers to use mobile internet, and educating current and potential users about how internet can add significant value to them and also built content partnerships, simplified pricing, conducted retailer education programmes.
