Chümoukedima, February 7 (MExN): The 3rd Champions Trophy T-20 Cricket organised by Nagamese Baptist Fellowship Sports Ministry Chümoukedima village on the theme ‘pursue oneness’ commenced at Chümoukedima town local.
On day-2 the first match was played between Silver Machete Cricket Club (SMCC) and NIT Nagaland. Machete CC won the toss and taking on the bat set a mammoth target of 306 runs where NIT Nagaland were all bowled out for just 44 runs. SMCC won the match by 261 runs.
In the second match Brezza IX CC faced Optimus CC where BREZZA IX CC set a target of 275 runs.
Chasing the target, Optimus CC managed to score 193, losing the match by 82 runs.
In the third and final match of the day the defending champion Flying Rabbit BCC faced Royal CC where Royal CC after batting first set they set a target of 171 runs. Flying Rabbit managed to chase the target in just 14.2 overs winning by 3 wickets.
