
Kohima, June 22 (MExN): The Radiant Educational Society (RES), Kohima is organizing 3rd RES Art Competition 2016 on June 25 at SIRD Auditorium, New Secretariat Colony, Kohima under the theme “Child Rights Begins in the womb.”
The inaugural function will take place from 9:00 AM onwards. This competition is designed for children in the age group of 13 to 18 years. The competition aim to promote our youngster the role of art as one of the critical ingredient in the definition of children world and identity and to showcase their inborn talents.
The Ist, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place winners will get Rs. 10,000, Rs. 7000, Rs. 5000 and Rs. 2000 respectively while the 5th, 6th , 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th positions will get Rs. 1000 each.
Z. Nyusietho Nyuthe, joint secretary social welfare and society director State Child Protection Society Nagaland will grace the inaugural function as the chief guest. Judges for the competition will be Neivotuo Keyho, senior artist, directorate of art & culture, T. Yanger Ozukum, art expert, directorate of art & culture and Raitale Zeliang, programme manager, State Child Protection Society Nagaland. So far, 45 school children have confirmed their participation, according to RES chairman cum managing director Mengukhrietuo Marcus.
