
Dimapur, February 20 (MExN): A medical camp was organised by 41 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) on February 20 at Seithekima village in Dimapur district. Assam Rifles doctors and the team of medical staff of 41 AR attended to 132 patients – 27 men, 39 women, and 66 children – during the camp, informed a press release from Assam Rifles. The patients were given free consultation and medicines and also made aware of hygienic practices and preventive measures. The medical camp held under Operation Sadbhavana brought “smiles and succour” to the villagers of Seithekima Old and neighbouring villages who have limited access to healthcare, the release stated, adding the Gaon Buras and villagers also expressed gratitude to Assam Rifles for conducting the medical camp.
