Dimapur, January 23 (MExN): “Success is not solely dependent on individual talent, but also on the opportunities provided by God,” noted Atoshili Zhimomi, Deputy Secretary to the Government of Nagaland.
To this end, she encouraged students to be humble, live with God-fearing values, and commit to their studies, addressing the 41-U Western Sumi Students’ Union Baghi Hoho in Kuhuboto Town, Dimapur as a guest speaker on January 21.
A press release issued by Media Cell, Western Sumi Students’ Union stated that Zhimomi's speech centered around the theme “With United Power” and stressed the importance of career guidance, perseverance, and sincerity in achieving success.
She also urged the students to choose their careers wisely, whether in bureaucracy or business, and strive to be masterful in their chosen careers.
The Deputy Secretary highlighted the importance of perseverance, patience, and careful decision-making in overcoming challenges and achieving success and cautioned that many people fail to achieve their goals due to impatience and lack of careful planning.
“Your future depends on your harvesting of today,” she added, stressing the importance of making the most of available opportunities.
Zhimomi also encouraged students to seize available opportunities and become successful individuals, noting that students are the leaders of today and tomorrow.
“Be sincere in your career guidance, committed in your studies, and lead an exemplary life that creates a positive impact on society,” Zhimomi said. “Remember, your future depends on what you do today.”
