The Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) will be holding its 42nd General Session at Chizami on January 24 under the theme “Unity is Strength.”
Nagaland’s CAWD & Taxes Advisor Kiidecho Khamo will be the special guest while Neposo Theliio, IAS (Retd), member, Nagaland Public Service Commission will be the guest speaker.
The session, commencing from 10:00 AM, will be chaired by CPO vice president Ezekowe K. Tara while welcome speech will be delivered by Chizami Village Council chairman Kewepelo Tsuha.
CPO president Veziihii Keyho will deliver presidential address.
Tenyimi Union Nagaland (TUN) president Kekhwengulo Lea will share greetings while Chakhesang Scholars Forum chairman Dr. Zavise Rume will talk on educational programme.
CPO general secretary Chepetso Koza will highlight the activities of CPO for the current tenure while vote of thanks will be proposed by CPO treasurer Rekha Rose Dukru.
The session will also witness short speech from legislators, adoption of resolutions, felicitation etc.
Meanwhile, the CPO informed that all the Executive Council members, Area/Range Presidents and Colleagues, VCCs, Head GBs, VDB Secretaries, Women Chairperson are compulsory to attend the session.
The present legislators, former MP, former legislators, former CPO officials, CPO constituted Committee members, the presidents and colleagues of all frontal organisations, church leaders, Chakhesang Gazetted Officers Association officials and members, Phek District GB Association officials and members, well wishers are cordially invited to attend the session, the CPO stated.
Further, all the Village Councils have been requested to submit their respective Village Membership fees @ Rupee 1 per head based on the latest Census report during the time of registration.
