ZUNHEBOTO, JANUARY 4: The fourth accused/accomplice of the December 21 incident, wherein passengers of a Zunheboto bound taxi were assaulted, was arrested Friday evening at around 7:30 pm. As per police sources, the accused was apprehended at the outskirts of Zunheboto town by the SOT (Special Operation Team). A case against the accused was filed at Satakha Police Station in connection to the December 21 incident. Zunheboto police SOT were on high alert and conducted midnight operation(s) in various areas of Zunheboto district. Acting on a tipoff from reliable sources, the SOT apprehended the accused, who was later identified as one Dick Yeputhomi, a driver by profession, son of Hosheto of Natha Old Village under Zunheboto district. The accused was transported to judicial custody of the Central Jail, Dimapur on January 3.
