It is a badminton jamboree at the jam packed Indoor Badminton Stadium Mokokchung as star-studded teams battle it out against each other amid roaring cheers of ecstatic badminton enthusiasts. The second day of the 4th Mokokchung District Inter Club Badminton Championship 2019 gained heat as the teams moved to the deciding matches of the league round. Till the filing of this report, Soyim Smashers Power and Shuttlers Chuchuyimpang ‘B’ from Pool A were already assured of a berth in the semis after winning both of their respective matches. Who would emerge as the leaders from Pool A remained to be decided. Pool B remained wide open as it was not clear which two teams would move on to the knock-out stages till the filing of this report. The semi-finals and final matches will be played Saturday from 09:00 AM.
