Nagaland team 40 plus players at central stadium Trivandrum Kerala before the opening match.
Dimapur, May 19 (MExN): Team from Nagaland are participating in 40 plus and 50 plus in football and track and field events of the 4th National Master Games at Trivandrum (Kerala). Organised by Masters Games Association, Kerala, the event got underway on May 18.
The opening match of the 40 plus football was played between Nagaland and Kerala XI in the Central Stadium Trivandrum, Kerala on May 19. The match between the two states (same group category) was a knock out. Despite of the bad weather conditions, the game was a trilling match, said an update received here.
Nagaland team led the match in first half, however, was dominated by the opponent. Nagaland lost by two goals as Kerala XI managed to score four goals.
Nagaland team 50 plus will play against West Bengal on May 20.
