PEREN, SEPTEMBER 3 (MExN): The 4th edition of the New Jalukie Super League (NSL) 2025 officially kicked off on September 2 at the New Jalukie Playground in Peren district.
The inaugural ceremony, held in the evening, was attended by sports enthusiasts, community leaders, and well-wishers from the village. The event was graced by Jiendai Gangmei, Pastor of Rongmei Baptist Church, Samziuram, who officially declared the tournament open.
Gangmei also dedicated the league with a prayer and encouraged young athletes to uphold discipline, fair play, and unity through football. NSL Secretary Aphun Gonmei welcomed the guests, players, and club officials, outlining the purpose of the tournament, while Benwangbo, NSL member, introduced the participating clubs and their officials. The Technical Team of NSL 4.0_2025 administered the oath, and the event was anchored by NSL member Gaisinthui Kamei. Following the inauguration, six football clubs faced off in the opening day fixtures, showcasing skill, passion, and determination. Large crowds of fans turned up to cheer for their favourite teams, setting the tone for a competitive season. The New Jalukie Super League 2025 will run until September 27.
