4th Open Penalty Shoot-Out Tournament

Prodigies Group is organizing 4th Open Penalty Shoot-Out Tournament on April 21 at Seikhazou (D. Khel Ground) Kohima Village.  

This was announced by Prodigies Group during a press conference here this afternoon.  

The Prodigies Group’s public relation officer, Avilie Mepfhuo said that registration forms are available at Rs. 100 and Rs. 2000 as entry fee.  

The forms along with the entry fee can be submitted at the same outlet: Town area: Equipment and Sports, Main Town, High School Area: Active Station (Opposite Axis Bank) and B.O.C Area- Big Bite, Jail Colony.   Last date of submission of forms has been fixed on April 19.  

The prize sponsors for the tournament includes; K&K Motors (Mahindra), Kohima for the 1st Prize of Rs. 30,000; Kat Emporium, Themezie for the 2nd prize of Rs. 20,000; Aja Communication (LG), Kohima for the 3rd Prize of Rs. 10,000; Home Maker, Main Town, Kohima for the 4th prize of Rs. 5,000 and Kohima Computer Centre, Khedi Market, Main Town -Rs 5,000 for the best Goal Keeper.  

Match fixtures will be fixed on April 20 at Seikhazou (D. Khel Ground) at 4:00PM.  

Rural Development Advisor, Dr Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire will be the chief guest while Elizabeth Ngullie, Administrator, Kohima Municipal Council will be the guest of honour.  

Nourhengunuo Zatsu and Sentila Kichu have been featured as entertainment during the event. There will be food and beverages stalls to cater to the crowd and also some extra games which will be opened to the public.  

The rules and regulations for the tournament dictate that team shall comprise of 6 players including a Goal Keeper; shall have either a Manager or a Coach; all players are to be in matching numbered jerseys; and all players are to be in the proper football attires (Jersey Set, Football Boots, and Football Stockings).
