Medziphema Town Youth Organization and Medziphema Village Youth Org to clash in final
DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 29 (MExN): The semi finals of the 51st Chakhroma Sports Meet were held today with Medziphema Town Youth Organization and Medziphema Village Youth Organization booking their places for the final.
In the first semi final, Medziphema Village Youth Organization overcame Chümoukedima 'A' Village Youth Organization 2-0 to enter the final. MVYO took an early lead when Vikholie Chase scored in the 4th minute. The lead was extended with Khriese scoring in the 44th minute sealing the win for MVYO.
Meanwhile Er Seyiekhrietuo Solo, EAC, Dimapur and Administrator, CTC graced the first semi final as the Match Patron.
In the second semi final, Medziphema Town Youth Organization edged Kuda Youth Club with 2-1 to enter the final.
Kelhoukhrielie and Visalie Mezhü scored for MTYO, while Kevichütuo Nagi managed to pull one back for KYC. ADC, Chümoukedima, Temsüwati Longkumer was the Match Patron of the second semi-final.
The grand finale of the tournament will be played on October 30 at 2:00 pm at Medziphema local ground with Dr Neiphrezo Keditsu, Chairman, Nagaland Khadi & Village Industries Board as the closing guest.
