54th Batch NSS Probationers attends District Attachment Prog in Pughoboto

Pughoboto, February 21 (MExN): A two-day District Attachment Program of 54th Batch Nagaland State Secretariat (NSS) Probationers was held at Pughoboto Election District on February 18 and 19. A DIPR report stated that as part of the NSS (P) Foundation Course training, a delegation of 20 NSS (P) officers visited various Offices, Schools and CHC under Pughoboto subdivision. 

ADC Pughoboto, Tiameren Chang, NCS addressed the NSS (P) probationers and briefly highlighted them about Pughoboto Sub-Division. The attachment period aimed to train the probationers in understanding the functioning of different government offices and provide an overview of office structure, policies, protocols & office procedures to instill in them a deep understanding and the right frame of mind towards public service. 

As part of their exposure visit, the 2025 batch of NSS (P) probationers visited various government offices viz. E.E PWD (R&B), SDEO (Education), CDPO, SDHO(Horticulture), Government Higher Secondary School, Pughoboto & SMO CHC on the first day. On the second day the probationers enjoyed trekking to helipad and visited Traditional Hut at Mishilimi village along with the New Administrative Complex which was inaugurated back in October 2024. The second day exposure trip also included visit to Pughoboto Police Station (SDPO) and SDO (Agriculture) office. 

The Nodal Officer for the programme, Er Keyileuteing Ndang, EAC, Pughoboto and the District HODs with their respective staffs actively engaged with the probationers over the course of the two day training and the programme ended with a debriefing from ADC, Tiameren Chang.
