The two day-long 54th Tenyidie annual seminar under the aegis of Ura Academy Kohima culminated this evening at Ura Academy Hall, Kohima.
Speaking at the valedictory function, Ura Academy president Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu highlighted about the development of Tenyidie language that has gone upto to the university level and is now on the 28th years while hundreds have already received their masters degree in Tenyidie and Ph.D. He stressed on the need to do more research and writings in Tenyidie.
Tenyimi People’s Organization (TPO) President Timikha Koza exhorted the younger generations to respect women and elders. Angami Public Organization (APO) President Razouvotuo Chatsu stated that the organisation have been advocating for the promotion of Tenyidie language in all social and religious events as one of its agenda. He also commended the efforts of Ura Academy for ceaselessly working towards the promotion of Tenyidie language all these years.
Rev Tsolie Chase and Roviselie Chase also delivered spoke at the programme. The programme was led by Kevichutuo Kuotsu.
