
Peren, June 11 (MExN): The Ministry of Health, NSCN (IM) today held a free “intensive” medical camp at Jalukiekam village in Peren district, which was participated by 18 villages in the area.
Altogether, 14 doctors comprising of Oncologist, Psychiatrist, Surgeon, Gastrointestinal, Homeopathic, Chest Specialist, Orthopaedic, Dentist, Paediatric doctors, and 31 nurses and pharmacist provided their service during the health camp. Meanwhile, 557 patients benefitted from the health camp with free medicines distributed to all the patients, according to a press release received here from NSCN (IM).
The health camp was conducted in active collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society; doctors, nurses, technicians and other medical professionals from Eden Hospital; CIHSR, Dimapur; District Malaria Department, Dimapur; Dhansiripar CHC; Holy Redeemer, Chumukedima; Health Nursing School Dimapur; Institute of Management and Medical Research & School of Nursing, Singrijan; Mind and Health Clinic, Dimapur.
NSCN (IM) has acknowledged all the medical professionals for the yeoman service rendered to the sick and needy citizens of ‘Nagalim’. “Naga nation is proud to witness our professionals sharing their expertise without expecting anything in return. May the good Lord bless you all the more and to your family,” it added.
