58th PSU Session: Dr. Hoshi shares political vision for youths

Dr. Kuvezochi Hoshi, Managing Director Royal Foundation School Phek on Friday shared his political vision for youths during the 58th session of Phek Students’ Union cum Seminar on Career Guidance and Confidence Building for competitive exams at Phek village.  

He said that his vision is to establish well-organized career guidance and counseling centre in Phek HQ with state- of-the-art infrastructure facilities for college and university students aspiring for various competitive examinations at national and state levels, meritorious students of 10+2 for technical courses of science stream, non- technical professional courses and commerce stream and average students of all streams willing to pursue non-technical professional courses.  

He also envisions establishing an organized set up to capture labour market by guiding and counseling below 10+2 students to acquire diploma and certificate course in polytechnics and other vocational educations; To establish an organized set up to guide and counsel below Class VIII passed to Class X failed students to take up specific trade and craft trainings; Establish an organized set up to trained below Class VIII students to earn their livelihood by working as labour force; To create scholarship schemes for students who are unable to afford coaching fees and for those students willing to pursue non-technical professional courses; To create helpline and extend assistance by career guidance and counseling to all schools in the locality; To organize crash courses and short duration trainings in various skill development/capacity buildings so as to enable pre-service individuals and prepare them for various job opportunities and in-service individuals and prepare them to face new challenges in their professions/service; To organize job fairs, seminars and symposiums for interested individuals.  

Dr. Hoshi also stated that his vision is to create micro-finance institutes to extend financial assistance in the form of short-term as well as long term loans at minimal interest rates to individuals to venture into private business/enterprises/entrepreneurship and sponsor them in business management trainings and exposure trips outside the state.
