Dimapur, August 26 (MExN): The Students' Union of SASRD, Nagaland University, SASRD organised the 5th Friends Memorial Trophy, an annual event which is held in memory of friends who have passed away.
SU: SASRD, President Atou Kharutso in a press release informed that the opening ceremony was held on August 25 at IETC ground, Medziphema where Angelina Tajen, ADC Medziphema graced the occasion as the chief guest. The ADC in her speech encouraged the students to be honest and truthful in following their aspirations and dreams and to know their responsibilities that come with the privilege of being a technical student. She highlighted the importance of agriculture in the Indian context and reminded the students to work hard as they are the future leaders of the country.
The event will be concluded on August 27 and is an inter-class Football trophy for boys and volleyball for both boys and girls.
