Kohima, November 28 (MExN): The Department of School Education (DoSE) has announced that registration for the six-month Certificate Course (Bridge) in Primary Teacher Education, conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode, will be open from November 24 to December 25.
The course is intended for primary teachers who were appointed with a professional qualification of B.Ed. during the period from June 28, 2018, to August 10, 2023. Eligible teachers have been directed to complete their registration within the stipulated time through the official portal.
The department noted that the eligibility criteria and detailed instructions are available on the registration portal. Applicants have been advised to carefully read and comply with conditions prescribed by the Supreme Court and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The department clarified that mere registration does not guarantee admission.
