6 more positive cases in Nagaland, total at 118 

Dimapur, June 7(MExN): Another 6 samples tested COVID-19 positive on Sunday taking that total number of infections in the state to 118.  

 


All the new cases are from Dimapur quarantine centres, Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Minster, S Pangnyu Phom updated on Twitter in the evening. 


With this, there are now 118 positive cases in Nagaland. However, with 8 recoveries, there are 110 active cases. 

 

Out of 118 patients, 112 are in 18-44 age group, 5 in 0-17 years age group and a single case in 45-65 years age bracket, as per the Nagaland COVID-19 Dashboard. There are 82 males and 36 females among the 118 cases.

 

Dimapur has the highest number of infections at 95; however, with 8 recoveries, there are now 87 active cases in the district. All cases are asymptomatic. 

 

Kohima, with 17 active cases, has the second highest infections, followed by 5 in Tuensang. Peren district has one case.
