Nagaland state registered 6 COVID-19 positive cases on August 27, with 4 cases in Dimapur and 2 in Tuensang. Meanwhile, 124 more recoveries were reported on Thursday, taking the State’s cumulative tally of recoveries to 2735 while total cases was 3784 and active cases 1031. The State has also registered 8 deaths related to COVID-19 till date, while 1 death was categorized as ‘other deaths’. It may be mentioned that the daily consolidated update on the state’s COVID-19 status was not issued on Wednesday, owing to the 24-hr shutdown called by Nagaland In-Service Doctors Association (NIDA) against the alleged assault on a doctor on August 21.
