The 62nd annual sports meet of the Zhadima Village Youth & Sports Organisation (ZVYSO) concluded on Friday at the Zhadima Sports Complex with Dr Kheshika Yepthomi, deputy director & nodal officer of NHM, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, as the guest of honour. 

Addressing the gathering, Yepthomi said that he was impressed to see the sports infrastructure and the young athletes in the village. He also lauded the sports lovers, elders, residents living outside the village for gathering to support and encourage aspiring players in the village.  

Stating that sports have a huge avenue for enthusiasts, he encouraged the athletes to be determined and to give their best shot in various sports discipline that they play. 

In the men’s football category, Kimho Khel-II (A) team emerged as the winner while Calhake Khel-II secured the runner-up position. 

In the men’s volleyball category, defending champion Zhadima-II Khel won the champions trophy for the second consecutive year while Kimho Khel-II (B) secured the runner-up position. 

In the women’s volleyball category, Basa Khel emerged as the champions while Kimho Khel-II secured the runner-up position. 
In Men’s table tennis single, Neikhrietuo Albert Loucü emerged as the champion followed by Thejanguzo Kuotsu as the runner-up while in the doubles category, Neilakho Khoubve and Neikhrietuo Albert Loucü emerged as winners flanked by Dziesengulie Miario and Menuolelhou Khoubve as runner-up.

In the women’s table tennis single, Kevilenuo Pfüsenuo emerged as champion while Kevisenuo Pfüsenuo secured the runner-up position. 

In the men’s badminton double, Ruokuosatuo Khoubve emerged as champion while Akhriebou Khoubve secured runner-up position while in the doubles category, Ruokuovizo Sorünuo and Akhriebou Khoubve emerged as winners followed by Seyiekhrielhou Kuotsu and Thepfusalie Thomas as runner-up. In the women’s badminton single category, Petekhrienuo Sorünuo emerged as champions while Vilhoubeinuo Sorünuo secured the runner-up position. Rüziake khel won the best discipline trophy.
