630 beneficiaries avail medical services at health mela conducted by DoHFW Z'bto

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 4 (MExN): Under the Aspirational Block Programme "Sankalp Saptaah,"  the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Zunheboto conducted a health mela at Akuhaito block in five Health and Wellness Centre Akuhaito, Sukomi, Asukhuto, Lokobomi and Mapulumi village on October 3.

The event was marked to improve the health and well-being of the residents in the regions of the aspirational block of the district. During the health mela, the gathering witnessed the establishment of essential healthcare services catering to the local community's needs, such as General OPD check-up, ANC screening, NCD Screening, ABHA Registration, Anaemia Testing centre, Immunization Drive, a press release issued by Dr Keneikhrietuo, District Media Officer, CMO office Zunheboto informed. 

Other health services such as laboratory facilities and screening of HIV, syphilis and hepatitis, malaria, dengue and tuberculosis were made available to the public. Free medicines were distributed to the beneficiaries.

A total of 13 ABHA/CMHIS ID Cards were also issued to beneficiaries. Furthermore, a total of 630 beneficiaries sought medical attention from various health services such as NCD screening-193, Anemia screening-91, Immunization-20, ANC-9, Lab test malaria -31, Hep B-29, Hep C 13, HIV-37, VDRL-29.

The district team of medical personnel consists of doctors, which includes Dr HetoSwu, DPO (UIP&RCH), Dr Mhonchan Kithan DPO(NCD), Dr Josia  MO Atoizu, Dr Gihuka Chishi MO Kilomi, Lab technicians and supporting officials and staff of various vertical programme (DPMU, DAPCU, NTEP, NCVBDC) .
