DIMAPUR, MARCH 28 (MExN): The Yimchungrü Tribal Council (YTC) had held the inaugural function of its 69th general session on March 27 at Showuba village. A press note informed that the event was graced by Toshi Wungtung Advisor IPR, SCERT & VG and T Torechu MLA as chief guests for the inaugural and valedictory functions respectively.
The MLA’s had urged upon the Yimchungrü community to be hardworking and to abstain from anti-social activities and to emphasis more on communal harmony. The occasion was attended by all candidates who contested from the Yimchungrü tribe and by 87 villages and all the Yimchungrü frontal organisations.
