Kohima, October 31 (MExN): The Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) is all set to organise 6th edition of Open Kohima District Volleyball Championship 2018 under the theme “Transcending through sports” from November 22 to 26 at Kohima Local Ground, Khuochiezie.
Forms have been made available at Zumvü Printex @ CK arcade, Main town Kohima, Northern Sports below CANSSEA office Kohima and Star Sports @ BOC Kohima.
Interested clubs, teams, colonies/wards, army, CRPF, police, schools, colleges, villages and churches within Kohima District may avail the forms and join the tournament.
Players for both the men and women teams will be selected from this tournament to represent Kohima District in the forthcoming Nagaland State Inter-District Volleyball Championship to be hosted by KDVA at Kohima in the early part of 2019.
KDVA will also be organizing a two days volleyball referee refresher cum clinic for both men and women at Indira Gandhi (IG) stadium on November 6 and 7.
All the interested referee certificates holders and interested fresh candidates have been informed to avail the chance.
