Dimapur, June 19 (MExN): The 6th anniversary of ‘Phuvkiu Day’ was celebrated at council hall, Phuvkiu Village on June 18. N. Sachu John, AEO pointed out that the name of ‘Phuvkiu’ is the origin of their pioneers and forefathers of the village. The programme was presided over by Chairman Phuvkiu village council Y. Khiutsikiu while invocation was pronounced by Catechist CKC Phuvkiu, Repewmew. Welcome address was delivered by 2nd Hd. GB. Kiusumew while significant of Phuvkiu day was highlighted by former VCC, Rukhiukiu. Folk song was presented by GBs Phuvkiu village, special prayer by pastor PBC Kumkiu while vote of thanks was proposed by VDB secretary Azikiu Abraham.
