Participating colleges take oath during the inaugural programme of 6th Pow-woW 2025 National Level Youth Festival at the Amphitheatre, Tetso College on March 3.
Chümoukedima, March 3 (MExN): The 6th Pow-woW 2025 National Level Youth Festival commenced at the Amphitheatre, Tetso College on March 3. The week-long festival will also feature departmental festivals, including the Lit Fest – ‘Magnum Opus’, Psyche Fest – ‘Eunoia’, Radiance 2.0 – ‘Excellence Through Innovation’, and Ling Fest – ‘Connecting Generations’.

The opening ceremony was graced by Col Lovlesh Panghal, CO 1 Nagaland Girls Bn NCC Kohima, as the special guest. In his keynote address, Col Lovlesh Panghal emphasised on the significance of ‘perspective’ and the understanding of opportunities in the socio-economic cultural aspect. He motivated the young minds to develop competency because this age is vital and there is no space for mediocrity. He also encouraged the gathering to maximise the use of their time for the next five days, making the most of it.

In the welcome address, Dr Hewasa L Khing, Principal, Tetso College, highlighted that Nagaland has the potential to achieve the highest standards in all fields, and encouraged the students to broaden their horizons, learn, and compete with talent on a global scale.
Dr Rosy Tep, Vice Principal of Tetso College initiated the oath-taking and Dr Rajesh Tanti, Fest Convenor shared the significance of Pow-woW. Special performances were presented by Tetso Choir and by Kitoka Mulu (BMus 2nd Semester).
Pow-woW 2025 will culminate on March 7.
