Mokokchung, November 18 (MExN): The Assistant Registrar of Cooperative societies, Mokokchung, celebrate the 71st All India Co-operative Week under the theme “The Role of Co-operatives in building Viksit Bharat.” The programme was held at Multi Purpose Hall, Sangtemla Ward, Mokokchung on November 18, stated a DIPR report.
The Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji, the guest of honour, urged beneficiaries to utilise digital tools, emphasised equal right in cooperative registration, and lauded the growth of local cooperatives. He encouraged start-ups to begin small but aim for long term success.
In her welcome and keynote address, Bisarila L Sangtam, Sub-Registrar of Co-operative Societies (SRCS), Mokokchung emphasised the significance of the building the role of Co-operative in building Viksit Bharat, she highlighted how the events objective of fostering cooperative awareness and opportunities for economics, agricultural and financial empowerment under the theme Viksit Bharat.
The programme was chaired by the Inspector of Cooperative Societies (IRC), Mokokchung, Tsulensa Jamir while invocation prayer was said by Y Amongla Jamir Secretary, Alongmenjang Agri and Allied Cooperative Society Ltd. The short speech was delivered by Supongchiten chairman, Adianu Agri and Allied Cooperative Ltd. Longsa village and Poji, DDM NABARD, Mokokchung.
