Nerhema, January 8 (MExN): The 71st Nerhema Youth & Sports Organisation (NYSO) Wrestling Meet was held at Nerhema village on January 7.
Neingutoulie Kengurüse, Councillor, Dimapur Municipal Council, and Rükravolie Rülho, PS to Chief Minister, Nagaland graced the opening and closing programmes respectively.
During the event, Thejavizo Merhieso emerged as the champion in the senior category. Kevimhalie Chadi secured the 1st runner-up position while Kekhriesizo Merhieso was declared the 2nd runner-up. A total of 28 wrestlers contested in the senior category.
In the Junior category, Vilhousielie Kiewhuo was declared Champion while Razousetuo Rutsa secured the 1st runner-up, Zhoviu Semou 2nd runner-up and Sedevilhou Vimerha 3rd runner-up.
