KOHIMA, JANUARY 19 (MExN): As part of its Civic Action Programme, the 78 Bn, CRPF, Zubza procured various type of agriculture tools like spade with handle, pick axe and digging rod (crow bar) for the villagers of Mezoma with the aim to assist them in farming activities.
Apart from that, water storage tanks were also procured for the purpose of storing water. The water storage tanks and agriculture tools were distributed to the needy villagers by the chief guest WR Josuah, Commandant – 78 Bn, CRPF, in the presence of Officers and men of 78 Bn, village council members and the villagers of Mezoma in a programme organized in the council hall on January 18.
Visayiecha Chusi, Chairman Village Council, Mezoma said that the water storage tanks will ameliorate the problems of poor villagers in storing water during the dry seasons. Similarly, the agricultural tools will also enhance the efficiency of the villagers in cultivation. He also expressed gratitude to 78 Bn CRPF for always extending a helping hand to the village.
