DIMAPUR, JANUARY 17 (MExN): Taking into account the acute water shortage and the problems being faced by the poor villagers of Kacharigaon (Phevima) to store water, 78 Bn CRPF, Zubza procured water storage tanks (500 Ltr) under CAP for the said villagers to tide over the water crisis. Apart from that, the Battalion also procured desk-top computer with multi-functional colour printer for the village council intended to be utilized for human resource development of the village youth through computer training.
The above items were formally handed over to the village council chairman and the needy villagers by WR Josuah, Commandant, 78 Bn CRPF in the presence of Suresh N, A/C, Personnel of ‘B’ Coy, 78 Bn CRPF, village council members and the villagers of Kacharigaon in a civic action programme organized on January 16 in the village council hall.
