Tuensang, February 16 (MExN): The 79th Chang Khulei Setshang was graced by MLA Imti Chuba Chang as the special guest at Noksen village on February 16.
A DIPR report stated that addressing the gathering, he emphasised the importance of unity within the Chang community for progress. He urged assistance for the three elected members to achieve their agendas, stressing the need for a progressive mindset aligned with technological advancements for a brighter future.
Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, LithronglaTongpi Rutsa, commended the community for fostering peaceful relations with neighbors, contributing to a harmonious environment. She encouraged new leaders to uphold this ethos and preserve traditional and cultural values, aligning with the district's cultural identity.
CWS President Pongsu, underscored the significance of health, education, and development initiatives in the district, soliciting cooperation for their swift realization.
The welcome address was delivered by Nungsanglemba Chang, President CKS, while Yali youth presented a special performance during the event.
